Day 7 - Kununurra - long day of driving 515 km
Day 8 - Turkey Ck - wanted to break the trip to BB (200k)
Day 9 - Bungles - arrive around noon - walk Echidna chasm (100k)
Day 10 - Bungles - walk southern areas eg Cathedral/Piccaninny
Day 11 - Emma Gorge 270 km - staying in resort
Day 12 - El Questro 30 km - staying in resort
Day 13 - Mt Elizabeth HS - 330 km
Day 14 - Manning Gorge (camping) - 70 km
Day 15 - Mt Hart - exploring Bell, Galvin, Adcock Gorge 150km
Day 16 - Windjana Gorge (camping) - 135 km
Day 17 - Broome - rest at Cable Beach - 360 km

Birgit - I found your book very helpful in devising my itinerary. I particularly noted your comments about not trying to compress everything into the time available so reluctantly have left out Mornington, Mitchell Plateau, Cape Leveque - however I think the trip will be amazing.
I will be travelling in early June 09 so hopefully all roads are open and in good order as I have pre-booked most of the accommodation.
